WELCOME TO COLOURMOTION www.colourmotion.co.uk

Hello and welcome to my site, a photo album of interiors that I have coloured using lime paint and flat oil in combination, along with my occasionally inspired thoughts on colour.

Lime paint is unique in the way that it expresses colour and light and in its effect on the light, space and contents in a room. It is a phenomenon like a kind of magic that has to be seen to be really understood.

Flat oil is the perfect companion to lime paint for woodwork.

I have been working on some amazing interiors in the last few years with interiors consultants and a variety of clients. Take a look at my website www.colourmotion.co.uk to see my projects, some ongoing ...

EVERYWHERE

It's EVERYWHERE.
The white emulsion ceiling has all the charm of icing sugar.
This white vinyl surface is emotionally blunt, it gives nothing to the ambient light or to the colour in the room.

JUXTAPOSITION

The room is a scene in juxtaposition, it is never at rest. Scale, colour, space, form and sense are shifted by the smallest detail.
